Our Story

Rebecca Fuscardo graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute ready to make her mark through creativity and craftsmanship. In 1991, she founded The Artworks, using her artistic talents to create custom murals, signage, and specialty finishes before eventually bringing that same creative vision into the decorative concrete industry.

Concrete soon became more than a trade—it became a family tradition. Rebecca introduced her son, Gaetano, to the industry at just nine years old, giving him the opportunity to learn the craft firsthand and develop an appreciation for the hard work, precision, and attention to detail behind exceptional concrete work.

In 2017, Rebecca and Gaetano officially joined forces to create Fuscardo Concrete / The Artworks LLC. Together, they brought decades of hands-on experience, artistic vision, and construction knowledge under one company with a shared goal: to push the boundaries of what concrete contractors can offer.

Today, Fuscardo Concrete has grown from its decorative roots into a full-service concrete contractor providing turn-key solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and structural projects. While the size and complexity of our projects have grown, the principles behind the company have remained the same—family, craftsmanship, innovation, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

That commitment has taken our team far beyond our hometown of Weirton, West Virginia. From executing demanding concrete projects across multiple states to sharing our knowledge as industry educators at the World of Concrete Convention, earning recognition through the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) awards, and serving on the WACP Board, our involvement in the industry extends well beyond the projects we build. We continue to invest in our people, equipment, technology, and techniques while contributing to the advancement of the concrete industry and the craft itself.

At Fuscardo Concrete, we don't simply pour concrete. We bring together generations of experience, modern technology, and artisan-level craftsmanship to deliver concrete built to perform—and work we're proud to put our family name on.
